In order torespond to the appeal of “popular entrepreneurship and innovation” and supportcollege students to start a business, this week (May 28 ^th ), a venture capital matchmakingmeeting was held in cultural creative center of GDUFS (North Campus). A groupof well-known entrepreneurs were invited to the meeting, which included Chenjian, the vice-president of Wanda Group in Southern China Area, Yao Weichuang, the executive director of Shangrong of GDUFS, Tan Yinghua, the investingpartner of Heqian and Jianghao, the executive director of Lianrong Trading Co.Ltd. They attended the meeting expecting to make an investment to thepotentially rewarding teams. Meanwhile, some experts in venture capital alsoattended the meeting to offer connecting and directing assistance for thestudent teams. Besides, Liu Haichun, the vice president of SIEE(School ofInnovation and Entrepreneurship Education ), Xie Xiulan, the executive vicepresident of SIEE, and Xie Weiguang, Secretary General of Sanhui have alsoattended the meeting.

In the meeting, ten student teams(Weiling Tutor, Wuli, Yummy, Hi!Drink, Family,Ailefu, Caigoubao, Benya Crafts, Baiyunbidou and Youth Café) presented their projects successively in theroadshow, attracting audiences with their creativity and competitiveadvantages.

After theroadshow, the judges and guests commented on the ten teams and gave them somesuggestions. Finally, it turned out that 7 teams of them gained the venturecapital investment and the other 3 teams gained connecting and directingassistance from the tutors. Two sides have later signed up the letter ofinvestment intent and tutoring intent. From then on, they started a new journeyof cooperation.
